The DP-S series compact laboratory power supply forms the entry class of our high-performance power supplies and offers excellent performance and reliability in a small cabinet, manufactured as a desktop device with transport handle. Ideal for high performance applications such as load testing of inverters, heating elements, charging accumulators or capacitor banks. The compact laboratory power supply of the DP-S series can also be used in industrial processes up to 4kW continuous load completely maintenance-free.
Advantages of the DP-S Series Compact Laboratory Power Supply:
– Compact and lightweight cabinet with handle
– Potential free output
– Constant voltage source (CV) and constant current source (CC) operation
– Optional external analog control inputs for voltage and current (0 … 5V / 0 … 10V / 4 … 20mA)
– Optional passive reverse current protection for capacitive loads
The following is a brief description of additional options for the compact laboratory power supply of the DP-S series. A detailed description can be found in the datasheet, should you have any questions please contact our support during our opening hours via the live chat or by e-mail and we will gladly assist you.
[U] Ext. analog control U
A control input connection allowing to control the output voltage value externally, available in different versions for different control systems (0 … 5V / 0 … 10V / 4 … 20mA).
[L] Ext. analog control I
A control input connection allowing to control the output current value externally, available in different versions for different control systems (0 … 5V / 0 … 10V / 4 … 20mA).
[A] Remote Output Interlock
Allowing to control the status of the output power on/off remotely, designed as an open/closed loop (open = output off / closed = output on).
[R] Reverse current protection
Reverse current protection enables the power supply to safely operate with highly capacitive or inductive loads. Simplified, a passive protection can be compared with a diode in series with the output connection.
